Atmospheric pressure The weight of the air pressing down on Earths surface
Prevailing wind Is the wind that is most frequent in an area
Doldrums Areas close to the equator where the wind speeds are very low or where they have died out
Warm winds Winds that blow from the equator towards the poles
Cold winds Winds that blow from the poles towards the equator
Coriolis effect When Earth spin from west to east,it changes the direction of the wind making them follow curved paths
