Dyke | It is made when magma moves upwards towards the surface cool and solidified. |
Sill | Is formed when magma lies along the bedding planes of sedimentary . |
Laccolith | The result of large amounts of magma moving between bedding planes and causing overlying reek |
Denduation | The laying bare of underlying rocks by the process of weathering transport and erosion. |
Weathering | Is the gradual breakdown of rocks or decay of rocks in situ. |
Erosion | The removal of land surface by wind , water or ice. |
Mass wasting | Is the downhill movement of soil and rock under the influence of gravity. |
Deposition | The dropping off of material which has been picked up and transported by wind, water or ice. |
Regolith | It contained to Greek words rhegas"blanket" lithos"rock" is the layer of weathered broken and unsolid rock which which forms at the Earths surface. |

Diural range | The highest or lowest temperature within 24 hours |
Granular disintegration | Rocks that are made up of different minerals such as granite. These minerals can expand and contracts at different rates. |
Batholith | A large mass of intrusive igneous rock that forms from cool magma deep in the earth crust. |
