Melanesia an island group north and east of Australia consisting of many high islands, with a larger population
Micronesia an island group mostly north of the Equator in the Pacific Ocean made up of largely low islands
Polynesia the largest island group on the Pacific Ocean, mostly made up of high islands with some low islands
