An annual inspection will be conducted by   Florida Sheriff's Association-Certified Jail Inspectors

This annual inspection will be conducted   to ensure compliance with the Florida Model Jail Standards

The Accreditation Sergeant   will coordinate these annual inspections

Security/Sanitation inspections will include   facility perimeters, inmate living areas, food service areas, inmate activity areas such as dayrooms, dining areas, recreational areas, and classroom areas

Safety/Security devices such as   housing area doors, locks, windows, walls, fences, protective screens, fire alarms  
🗑
other security devices and personal protective equipment   will be carefully inspected to ensure they are accounted for and fully operational  
🗑
Emergency keys will also be checked   to ensure they are accounted for and in good working order
