Discrepancies concerning inmate telephones | will be reported on the Inmate Telephone Trouble Report form provided by the contract phone company |
An annual inspection will be conducted by | Florida Sheriff's Association-Certified Jail Inspectors |
This annual inspection will be conducted | to ensure compliance with the Florida Model Jail Standards |
The Accreditation Sergeant | will coordinate these annual inspections |
Security/Sanitation inspections will include | facility perimeters, inmate living areas, food service areas, inmate activity areas such as dayrooms, dining areas, recreational areas, and classroom areas |
Safety/Security devices such as | housing area doors, locks, windows, walls, fences, protective screens, fire alarms |
other security devices and personal protective equipment | will be carefully inspected to ensure they are accounted for and fully operational |
Emergency keys will also be checked | to ensure they are accounted for and in good working order |
