globe   A sphere that is a model of Earth and most accurately represents it.

geography   The study of our physical surroundings and how humans interact with them.

compass   A tool or instrument for finding directions.  
🗑
latitude   An imaginary line called a parallel that runs West and East around Earth.

longitude   An imaginary line called a meridian that runs from the North Pole to the South Pole.

physical features   A part of Earth's surface including landmasses and bodies of water.  
🗑
landform   A physical feature on Earth's surface such as a mountain or a plain.  
🗑
government   The organization that makes the laws in a country, state, or community and has the power to enforce them.  
🗑
climate   Weather elements, such as temperature, rainfall, and wind, that are measured over a period of time.  
🗑
economic map   Shows the cost of living per year in a certain place.  
🗑
climate map   Shows the rainfall a certain place gets in a given year.  
🗑
political map   Shows the borders between states and countries.

population map   Shows how many people live in a certain area.

physical map   Shows that a certain area has many mountains around it.

Review the information in the table. When you are ready to quiz yourself you can hide individual columns or the entire table. Then you can click on the empty cells to reveal the answer. Try to recall what will be displayed before clicking the empty cell.
 
To hide a column, click on the column name.
 
To hide the entire table, click on the "Hide All" button.
 
You may also shuffle the rows of the table by clicking on the "Shuffle" button.
 
Or sort by any of the columns using the down arrow next to any column heading.
If you know all the data on any row, you can temporarily remove it by tapping the trash can to the right of the row.
