| deposit | to put money in a bank |
| direct deposit | money sent directly into a person's bank account without the use of checks or cash |
| discount | an amount taken off a regular price |
| consumer | a person who buys goods and services |
| free | not costing any money |
| wage | an amount of money that a worker is paid (based on the number of hours that are worked) |
| income | money coming in (earnings or investments) |
| budget | a plan used to decide the amount of money that can be spent |
| cost | the price of something (the amount of money that is needed to pay for something) |
| bank | an establishment (place) deposit money. or get a loan |
| job | the work that a person does regularly in order to earn money |
| savings | an amount of money that is NOT spent or used |
| tax | an amount of money that is required to pay |
| loan | a legal arrangement when you borrow money and you are required to pay it back |
