| Deposit | to put money in a bank |
| Direct Deposit | money sent directly into a person's bank account without the use of checks or cash |
| Discount | an amount taken off a regular price |
| Consumer | a person who buys goods and services |

| Wage | an amount of money that a worker is paid (based on the number of hours that are worked) |

| Budget | a plan used to decide the amount of money that can be spent |

| Credit | money that a bank or business will allow a person to use and then pay back in the future |

| Interest | price paid for the use of CREDIT or MONEY |
| Salary | an amount of money that an employee is paid each year |
| Asset | a valuable person or thing |
| Value | the amount of money that something is worth: the price or cost of something |
| Credit | an amount of money that is added to an account |
| Coupons | paper certificates entitling you to a discount off of the regular of an item |
| Fixed Expenses | cash expenses that stay relatively stable from month to month |
