| Salt Water | An Ocean or Sea that contains a large amount of salt. |
| Fresh Water | Inland water,such as rivers, lakes, or glaciers, that is not salty. |
| Glacier | Extended mass of ice formed from snow fall. |
| River | A natural stream of water of fairly large size flowing in a definite course. |
| Lake | A body of fresh or salt water of considerable size, surrounded by land. |
| Aquifer | Fresh underground water. |
| Waves | Ondulations that moves across the surface of the sea: created by the wind. |
| Tide | The periodic rise and fall of the waters of the ocean, produced by the attraction of the moon and sun (nearly every six hours) |
| Low tide | The time when the water of the ocean goes out. |
| High tide | The time when the water of the ocean comes in closer to land. |
