How is the length of a day on Earth determined? There are 24 hours in a day because that is the length of time it takes Earth to rotate on its axis.

What is a synonym for sunrise? Dawn
What is Synonym for sunset? Dusk
What season is it in South America if it is winter in North America? Summer- opposite hemispheres have opposite seasons
