QuestionAnswer
Accent An emphasis at the beginning of a musical sound.
Adagio Meaning a slow tempo or slow speed
Chord When two or more notes or pitches are sounded to make a cord
Crescendo Meaning growing, as in a gettig of sound, or becoming louder
Half-step equivalent to 1⁄12 of an octave
Key A group of pitches based on a particular tonic
Melody An identifiable succession of musical sounds.
Octave The interval between two musical notes, the upper one of which has twice the pitch of the lower one
Piano Gently, soft
Solo be played alone.
Tempo The rate of speed of a musical work
minor having intervals of a semitone between the second and third degrees
major having an interval of a semitone between the third and fourth degrees
chromatic relating to or using notes not belonging to the diatonic scale of the key in which a passage is written
