What is a vernacular region? An area which exists as part of a cultural identity, instead of as a concrete place.
What is uneven development? An increasing economic gap between core areas and peripheral regions.
What is a transnational corporation? A company which has a hold in many countries via conducting reasearch, manufacturing, selling products, etc.
What is a township? A six mile by six mile square created by the land ordinnce of 1785.
What is a toponym? The name given to a portion of the earth's surface.
What is stimulus diffusion. The spread of a principle even if its major/specific charictaristics are rejected.
What is space time compression? The reduction in time it takes to move an object or idea to a different place due to advanced technology.
What is space? The physical gap between objects.
What is a situation? The location of a place in relation to another place.
