Microorganism are living things that are so small it cant be seen by the naked eye We can keep ourselves clean by bathing and handwashing
Bacteria, protozoa,fungi, and virus are the different kinds of organism Soap, water, and special solutions can keep facilities clean
Disease-producing microorganism are pathogens Disinfection, and sterilization are two important method of killing microorganism
Some fungi and bacteria are helpful for healthy functioning Disinfection is the process of destroying and slowing down the growth of some microorganism
When microbes gain access to other parts of the body they dont belong, they become a pathogen sterilization is the process of killing all microorganism
A virus are much smaller than bacteria and can cause diseases Asepsis is the absence of microorganism
Some of the examples are AIDS and influenza
Viruses can only survive in other organisms
