Parents Alois was a strict disciplinarian. Klara Hitler was very young when she married the older Alois (3rd wife)(niece). She showered young Adolf with love and affection. She died of breast cancer when Adolf was 18 years old.
Education Hitler received good grades in elementary school. Dropped out of high school. Adolf wanted to become an artist but was not admitted into art school.
