QuestionAnswer
What is the Supreme Court? The highest court of the United States that is responsible for making decision that involve the constitution.
What is the Appeals Court? Consider past court decisions that have already been made and have been challenged and want by the defendant so that the verdict can be changed.
What is concurent Powers? Powers shared by both the states and Federal Goverments.
What is Federalists? Supporters of the Constitution.
What are Checks and Balances? The sytems in which each branch of goverment check on the other branches so that no one branch becomes too powerful.
What is Enumerated Powers? Powers to belonging ot the Federal Goverment only.
What is a Jury? A group of people who decide the outcome of a trial. They are given the responsiblity to make a decision.
What is a draft? It is when the goverement requires of age men to go into the military.
What is Implied Power? Powers not specificall mentioned in the constition.
What is Reserve Powers? Powers retained by the states.
