Characteristics of anhydrous ectodermic dysplasic patient (Hereditary on X Chromosome; 90% males) -"Bombé" form -Eminent chin -Small nose -Thick lip that protrudes externally
Abnormalities caused by anhydrous ectodermic dysplasia 1-Anhydrosis (absence of sweat glands)==> intolerance to heat 2-Hypotrichosis 3-Anodontia Dental treatment: complete denture
Partial Anodontia -Affects all teeth classes -Less common for central maxillary incisors
Hypodontia -Absence of < 6 teeth -Affects many classes, especially: LI, 1 of the PMs, 3M -E.g: when there's agenesis of 13, the 23 is microdontic
