Region

QuestionAnswer
Functional Region a region that retains specific characteristics within a given geographical area. It involves a central node with the surroundings being linked to it through transportation, communication and economic systems.
Perceptual Region constructs that reflect human feelings and attitudes about areas and are therefore shared, subjective images of places, tend to reflect individual's mental maps
Formal Region Places with similar features
Physical Characteristics e feature of a substance or object that are primarily visually perceptible and generally measurable
Human Characteristics Characteristics of a place that are related to people; these might include buildings or parks.
Boundaries a line that marks the limits of an area; a dividing line.
Unifying make or become united, uniform, or whole.
