DOMESTIC AFFAIRS | Matter of business having to do with one's home, family or country |

ISTHMUS | A narrow piece of land that connects two bigger pieces of land. |
TREATY | An agreement between two or more nations, having to do with trade or cooperation. |
RAW MATERIALS | Material that is still in its natrual or original state before it is changed in making a product. |
EXPANSIONISM | Policy of extending a nations boundaries, trade, and influnce |
ISOLATIONISM | Policy of having little to do with political affairs of foreign countries. |
TRADE | Voluntary exchange of goods or services. |
COMPETETION | The act of competing; a rivalry |
FOREIGN AFFAIRS | Matter of business outside of a person's country or region |
STRAIT | A narrow waterway that connects to larger bodies of water |
IMMIGRATION | The process of people coming in to a new country by leaving their old country. |
