New England

QuestionAnswer
Salem witch trail Young people did not follow other peoples way of religion. They thought they were preaching witch craft, so they were arrested and tried.
Roger Williams He did not support the New England way.
Anee Hutchinson She believed that people did not have to go to church to worship God.
Pilgrims A separatist group, who called for a total break with the church of England, because it was too much like the Catholic Church.
Puritans Another religious group, that also lrft England to escape persecution. They wanted to reform the Church of England by purifying some of it's practices similar to the Catholic Church!
King Phillip's War As Massachusetts colony grew, settlers began to take Native Americans land. This lead to conflict between Colony and the Native Americans. Which lead to King Phillips war in 1675. King Phillips led the alliance causing the war to last more than a year.
