Lake Baikal | lies in southern Siberia. The lake is over 1 mile deep. It is the third largest lake in Asia,the deepest lake in the world.Contains over 20% of the earth's total supply of freshwater. |
Volga River | fourth longest river in European Russia. Connects Moscow to the Caspian Sea |
Volga-Don Canal | canals that link Moscow to the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea. |

The Amur River | forms a border between China and Russia, drains eastward, influenced by summer monsoon winds from the southeast, the river valley is warmer than the rest of Siberia. It is the main food producing area |
