Critical Thinking

Logical reasoning is divided into these two categories. inductive and deductive reasoning
This type of reasoning proceeds from the general to the particular. deductive reasoning
This reasoning involves moving from the particular to the general. inductive reasoning
The conclusions reached by ______ reasoning based on a valid argument are certain and true. deductive
The conclusions reached by ______ reasoning are probable or contingent. inductive
An error in reasoning that leads to a conclusion that does not follow from premises. a fallacy
The most common type of fallacy seen in nursing is? a non sequitur
This is when the conclusions don't follow from the arguments or premise.
