What is stage O Cancer? | Carcinoma in stiu. Very early cancer where the abnormal cells are found only in the first layer of cell of the primary site and do not invade the deeper tissues. |
What is stage I Cancer? | Cancer involves the primary site, but has not spread to the nearby tissues. |
What is stage IA Cancer? | A very small amount of cancer, that is visible under a microscope and only found deeper in the tissues. |
What is stage IB Cancer? | A larger amount of cancer than IA is found in the tissues. |
What is stage II Cancer? | Cancer that has spread to the nearby areas but is still in the primary site. |
What is stage IIA Cancer? | Cancer that has spread beyond the primary site. |
What is stage IIB Cancer? | Cancer that has spread to other tissue around the primary site. |
What is stage III Cancer? | Cancer that has spread throughout the nearby area to the primary site. |
What is stage IV Cancer? | Cancer that has spread from the primary site to other parts of the body. |
What is stage IVA Cancer? | The cancer has spread to the organs close to the pelvic area. |
What is stage IVB Cancer? | Cancer that has spread to the distant organs such as the lungs. |
