Nutrients A source of nourishment, especially a nourishing ingredient in a food.
Sugar A sweet crystalline or powdered substance.
Blood The fluid consisting of plasma, blood cells, and platelets that is circulated by the heart through the vertebrate vascular system,carrying oxygen and nutrients to and waste materials away from all body tissues.
Insuline a protein hormone, secreted in the pancreas by the islets of Langerhans, that controls the concentration of glucose in the blood.
Glucagon A hormone produced by the pancreas that stimulates an increase in blood sugar levels, thus opposing the action of insulin.
Break down To cause to separate into pieces suddenly or violently; smash.
