What two categories can matter be broken up into? mixtures and pure substances
What are two types of mixtures? Heterogeneous and homogeneous
What are pure substances? Particles that make up a substance that are all the same
What is density? Measures the mass of a substance relative to it's volume
What does the Co-efficient indicate? Indicates the number of molecules
What does the Sub-script indicate? Indicates the amount of atoms
Which chemical property produces a solid when mixing two substances? precipitate
Which physical property has the ability to to form metal wires? ductility
What are the chemical properties? light produced combustion, color change, gas produced, precipitate
What is the first statment of the particle theory of matter? all matter is made up of tiny particles called atoms
