How was Abu Bakr chosen as the first calief When Muhammad died he had not told a successor and the Muslims went into a panic. Abu Bakr, his father-in-law reassured the Muslims and the Muslims then elected him as the 1st Calief
What was Calief Umar's policy Muslims let the conquered people keep there religioun if they chose to.
How far did Calief Uthman expand the land Calief Uthman didn't conquer much except some lost land from the Byzantines. He picked up on what Umar left off on expansion
How was Ali related to Muhammad and what happened to him Ali was Muhammad's cousin and son-in-law and he was stabbed to death in a mosque
Calief A title that means successor
Sunni The followers of Muhammad
Shi'a The group that didn't agree with him or the "party" of Ali
