inference | The process of arriving at a conclusion based on certain premises. |
perspective | The author's viewpoint. |
claim | To choose something you believe in as fact. |
anecdote | A short account of an event. |
alliteration | A group of words that begin with the same beginning letter; Peter Piper Picked a Peck of Peppers. |
onomatopoeia | The imitation of a sound like; bang, pow, zoom. |
summarize | To write the main idea of a paragraph or story. |
interpretation | To give your own meaning to someone's written work. |
