invest | to commit money or capital to make money |
interdependent | two or more things that depend on each other for survival |
inflation | when prices increase over time |

imperialism | the policy of obtaining and occupying land to create an empire |

holocaust | an act of mass destruction or loss of life |
guerrilla | a member of a small group of soliders that attack suddenly then hide |
