Submaxillary nodes | halfway between the angle and the tip of the mandible |
Submental nodes | in the midline behind the tip of the mandible |
Superfical cervical nodes | superficial to the sternomastoid |
Posterior cervical chain nodes | along the anterior edge of the trapezius |
Deep cervical chain nodes | deep to the sternomastoid and often inaccessible to examine. Hook your thumb and fingers around either side of the sternomastoid muschle to find them |
Supraclavicular nodes | deep in the angle formed by the clavicleand the sternomastoid |
