When our Founding Fathers wrote the Constitution, they did not start from scratch. Some of the basic principals of government in the U.S Constitution can be found in earlier documents like these... Magna Carta, First Charter of the Virginia Company of London, Mayflower Compact, Virginia Declaration of Rights, and the Virginia Statute of Religious Freedom.
Section One of the Declaration of Independence stated what? Identified the colonists' wants.
Section Two of the Declaration of Independence stated what? Identified what the king did wrong.
Section Three of the Declaration of Independence stated what? Identified the colonists' plan for the future.
