Extra (noun): performers who play a minor role in a play, movie, or TV show
Masquerade (noun): a false representation; a disguise
Pseudonym (noun): a PEN NAME; a name used by an author that is not his or her real name
Fate (noun): outcome of one's actions
Compelling (adjective): evoking interest, attention, or admiration in a powerfully irresistible way
Preconceived (adjective): (of an idea or opinion) formed before having the evidence for its truth or usefulness
Reception (adjective): the action or process of receiving something sent, given, or inflicted such as applesause
Ruse (noun): trick
Comrades (noun): a fellow soldier or member of the armed services
Defy (verb): openly resist or refuse to obey
Indentured Servants (noun): a person under a contract to work for another person for a definite period of time, usually without pay but in exchange for free passage to a new country
Enlist (verb): enroll or be enrolled in the armed services
Discharge (verb): tell (someone) officially that they can or must leave (or their time of service has ended))
Pension (noun): a regular payment made during a persons retirement from a fund that a person or their employer has contributed during their working life
Commissioned (verb): to be given a job or task
