range of motion terms

tilt head as far as possible toward each shoulder | lateral flexion |
move head in a circular motion as far as possible to right & left | pivotal |
elbow flexed, rotate shoulder by moving arm until thumb is turned inward & toward back | internal rotation |
elbow flexed move arm until thumb is upward and lateral to head | external rotation |
move are in full circle | circumduction |
bend wrist medially toward thumb | radial flexion |
bend wrist laterally toward fifth finger | ulnar flexion |
