Environment A place where all living and nonliving things that surround and affect an organism.
Biotic Living things
Abiotic Nonliving things
Ecosystem Organisms living in a place together with their environment. (Note - an ecosystem can be huge, like a desert, or small, like a mud puddle.)
Population A group of organisms of the same species in an ecosystem.
Community Consists of all the populations that live and interact in an area.
Habitat A living organism's home. Where the organism lives inside of an ecosystem.
