curiosity | always ask why. explore and learn more about the patient to make the right judgments. |
integrity | recognize when your opinions may conflict with those of a patient; review your position, and decide how best to proceed to reach mutually beneficical outcomes. |
humility | recognize when you need more information to make a decision, ask for an orientation to the area, ask nurses regularly assigned to area for assistance. |
