Dental Public Health In charge of deveolping polices at the county, state, & national levels for programs to control & prevent disease.
Pediatric Dentist Specializes in oral care of children
Oral Pathology Specializes in performing biopsies to provide diagnoses & works closely with oral surgeons.
Orthodontist Specializes in braces & straightening out the teeth & malocclusions (misalignments)
Endodontist Specializes in root canals & treatment of the pulp.
Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology Specialty that focuses on the location of tumors & infectious diseases of the jaw, head, & neck.
Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Specialty that focuses on the diagnosis & surgial treatment of diseases, injuries, & defects of the oral & maxillofacial regions.
Prosthodontist Specializes in restoration & replacement of natural teeth with artificial structures.
Periodontist Specializes in treatment of the surrounding oral tissues (gum)
