Term | Definition |

דַבָר גוּשׁ | Solid Foods don’t lose their intense heat as it is stored inside. |
אֵין בִּישׁוּל אַחַר בִּישׁוּל | (literally: There is no cooking after cooking) Once a food has been cooked, heating it in the same fashion doesn’t constitue "cooking". |

שֶׁהִייַה | To let a pot remain heating/cooking (Shoresh .שׁ.ה.ה, wait). |
הַטְמָנַה | to wrap and insulate a food (Shoresh :ט.מ.נ, hide). |
דַבַר הַמוֹסִיף הֶבֶל | Where the insulation is meant to increase, and not merely retain the heat. |
דַבַר שֶׁאֵינוֹ מוֹסִיף הֶבֶל | items that will merely retain the heat. |
