Aerosol mist.
Buccal Application drug placement against the mucous membranes of the inner cheek.

Nebulizer device that converts liquid inhalant medication to an aerosol using compressed air.

Paste vehicle that contains a drug in a viscous base.
Percutaneous Application drugs rubbed into or placed in contact with the skin.
Rebound Effect swelling of the nasal mucosa within a short time of inhaled decongestant drug administration.
Skin Patches drugs that are bonded to an adhesive bandage.
Spacer chamber that is attached to an inhaler.
Sublingual Application placement of a drug under the tongue.
Topical Route drug administration to the skin or mucous membranes.
Tragus skin covered cartilage at the opening of the external ear.
Transdermal application method of applying a drug on the skin and allowing it to become passively absorbed.
