QuestionAnswer
Who are constituents? The people a member of congress represents.
What is a bill? A proposed law.
Who are lobbyists? The people who represent interest groups.
What are interest groups? Groups of people who work together for similar interests or goals.
What is a congressional district? The area that a member of the House represents.
What are the requirements for senators? Must be at least 30 years old and must have been a citizen for at least 9 years.
What are the requirements for representatives? Must be at least 25 years old and must have been a citizen for at least 7 years.
What is a party? An organization of people who share certain ideas about what government should do.
what is a cencus? an official count of the population made every ten years.
