simple suture UNCOMPLICATED band of tissue between bony fonts
serrated suture an INTERDIGITING type of suture interdigiting extensions from ADJACENT surfaces this is a STRONG suture *looks like fingers coming together or locking*
Anterior Auricular Hillocks small hillock of tissue, grouped around the external ear canal derived from the FIRST/ MANDIBULAR ARCH 3 hillocks laterally on each side of the arch, L&R (6 total)
Posterior Auricular Hillocks small hillock of tissue, grouped around the external ear canal derived from the SECOND/ HYOID ARCH 3 posterior hillocks laterally on each side of the arch, L&R (6 total)
