Reservoir | A location in which a pathogenic agent is maintained prior to transmission. |
Sanitizer | Chemical agents that reduce the number of microorganisms to a safe level. |
Toxoid | Inactivated antigenic toxin molecules that stimulate development of the animal's own antibodies. |
Vaccine | A biologic product representing a pathogenic organism that stimulates immunity toward the pathogen. |
Virus | An extremely small nonliving infectious agent. |
Vitamins | Are substances that living bodies need to develop and function normally. |
Wound | An injury caused by physical means, with disruption of normal structures. |
Zoonoses | Any disease or infection that is naturally transmissible between vertebrate animals and humans. |
Husbandry | The production, housing, feeding and management of animals. |
