Term | Definition |

A | Make a first palm facing forward with your thumb beside your pointer . |
B | Have your palm facing forward with your thumb going across the front. |
C | Make a C shape with your hand. |
D | Make an O shape with your hand, palm facing forward, and point you pointer finger up. |
E | Palm facing forward, bend your fingers down not over your whole palm, and bend your thumb in. |
F | Palm facing forward, put your pointer and thumb together, and have the rest of your fingers up. Like the ok sign. |
G | Palm facing you, hand sideways, point your pointer finger like you're pointing to your left, and rest your thumb on your middle finger |

Q | Do the the sign for P, but put your thumb under your pointer with space between, and have it down at an angle. |
R | Palm facing out, cross your pointer and middle finger, rest your thumb across your palm. |
S | Palm facing out, make a fist with your thumb across the front. |
T | Palm facing out, make a fist, have your thumb under your first finger. |
U | Palm facing out, put your pointer and middle finger together pointing up, lay your thumb across your palm. |
V | Palm facing out, make a peace sign, thumb laying across your palm. |
W | Palm facing out, have your pointer, middle, and ring finger up, lay your thumb across your palm touching your pinky. |
X | Palm facing out, make a fist, have your pointer finger up, and arch it like a hook. |
Y | Palm facing out, have your pointer, middle and ring finger down, have your thumb and pink out. |
Z | Palm facing out, point out and make zig zag like a Z shape. |
Hello | Palm facing down, have your fingers together and your thumb across your palm. Put it up to your forehead at a slight angle and basically salute. |

Family | Have both hands in the sign for F. Have your thumb slightly touch your other one. Make a circle going out, ending with your pinkies touching. |
Mother | Palm facing your left side, have all your fingers up and bring your hand up to your face and have your thumb touch your chin. |
Father | Palm facing your left side, have all your fingers up and bring your hand up to your face and have your thumb touch your forehead. |
Son | Do the same thing for boy but at the same time bring up your left arm as if your were checking your watch. Bring down your hand, palm facing up and rest it on your arm as if you were signing for baby. |
Brother | Have your pointer and thumb out on both hands. Have your right hand up to your face, thumb touching your forehead. Have your left hand up and bring your right hand down and set it on your wrist. |
Sister | Do the sign for girl but don't take your hand completely down your face, in a quick motion slightly swipe the bottom of your chin and do the ending the the sign brother. |
Aunt | Do the sign for girl but have your thumb in an upward position and make a straight line down the side of your face. |
Uncle | Have your pointer and middle finger out and together. Bring your hand up to your head, slightly above your ear and do small circles with your hand, palm facing out. |
Cousin (either gender) | Have your hand in a cupped C shape. Bring your hand up towards your face about ear level. Make sure your palm is facing forward and make tiny circles clockwise towards your head. |
Cousin (male) | Do the same thing for cousin (either gender) but have your hand at forehead level. |
Cousin (female) | Do the same thing for cousin (either gender) but have your hand slightly below your chin. |
Grandmother | Do the same thing for mother but after you bring your hand up to your chin have your hand do two little jumps forward. |
Grandfather | Do the sign for father but instead of tapping your forehead with your thumb have your hand do two little jumps forward. |
Niece | Have your pointer and middle finger out but have them kind of down. Bring your fingers up to your face and do two little strokes outward across your chin. |
Nephew | Do the same hand position for niece but bring it up beside your head and slightly shake your hand. |
Husband | Have both hands in a wide C shape with all your fingers together. Bring your right hand up to your have and touch the side of your hand to your forehead and then bring your hand down and slightly clasp your hands. |
Sorry | Put your hand in a fist on your chest and move in a clockwise direction |
Thank you | Palm facing you, touch your hand to your chin and go down in an arched motion. |

Communicate | Hold both of your hands in a C shape. Move your hands back and forth. One hand going the opposite way of the other. |

Deaf | With your hand facing forward, first put your finger in front of your ear and then to the side of your chin. |
Hearing/Non-deaf | With your hand horizontal to the ground, have your pointer finger out and make a rotating motion forward. |
Hard of hearing | With your hand and chest level, have two fingers out, palm facing the left, take and move your hand to your left (middle of your chest) and then to your right. |
Interpreter | Have both of your hands in the F shape where the circle is facing the ground. Make sure your thumbs are touch and twist your dominant hand in an up and down motion. |
Feel/feeling and feel | Take your dominant hand (open) and have your middle finger in slightly more than the rest of your fingers. Make sure your palm is facing your chest. Start your middle finger in the center of your chest and flick your wrist up . Do that twice. |
Happy | Take both of your hands, palm facing your chest with all your fingers out and make a flicking up motion with your hands like with feel. |
Sad | With both hands, palms facing you, drag your hands down in front of your face and make a sad face. |
Angry | With your dominant hand in a claw shape, palms facing you, angrily bring your hand up to your face. |
Excited | Do the same motion for "feel" but use both hands on each side of your chest. not at the same time, one hand first then the other. |
