Forms of contamination

QuestionAnswer
From what places the contaminants come? Animal we use for food. Air, contaminated water and dirt. People (would be deliberately or accidently).
When the people can contaminate the food? When they doesn't washed their hands then that they used the used the restroom. They are in contact with a person who is ill.
Three types of biological contamination Microorganism, pathogen and toxin
What is Microorganism in the biological contamination? Its small, living organism that can be seen only with a microscope
What elements have pathogen? Harmful microorganism and make people sick when eaten or produce toxins that cause illness
What is toxin? Poison.
What are the 4 types of pathogens that can contaminated food and cause foodborne illness? Bacteria, virus, parasites and fungi.
What are the common symptoms of foodborne Illness Diarrhea, Vomiting, fever, nausea, abdominal cramps, jaundice
What are the basic characteristics of the bacteria? Location, detection, growth and prevention
What bacteria need to grow? Food, acidity, temperature, time, oxygen, moisture.
