community | all the many populations of living things e.g., plants, animals, fungi etc in a defined area |
ecosystem | All the communities in a defined area and the environmental conditions they interact with e.g. forest |
abiotic | the non-living part of the environment such as sunlight, temperature, water, pH, soil etc |
biotic | the interactions between living things in the environment, e.g. competition, predator/prey. |
Habitat | where something lives and the resources it uses e.g., the forest floor. |
