What happens during Systole? | The ventricles contract and send blood out from the right ventricle to the pulmonary artery and from the left ventricle to the Aorta |
What happens during Diastole? | The Atria contract to move blood into the ventricles and coronary arteries |
The closing of which valves cause the Lub (S1) sound? | As systole begins, pressure in the ventricles rises until the Mitral and Triscuspid valves close making the LUB (S1) sound. |
The closing of which valves cause the DUB (S2) sound? | The Aortic and Pulmonic valves. |
