How were house pets treated during Jesus's time? | Dogs were unclean and families did not have enough money to take care of them. They were not treated good, like they are today. |
How and why was stone carving used during Jesus's time? | It was used to create a design or record information. Stone was chiseled with metal tools. |
Who owned horses and what were they used for? | Wealthy people owned horses and were used for war and travel. |
Who was Jesus's cousin and why is he so important? | John the Baptist: He spread the good news of Jesus, made the way for him, and Baptised him. |
Why was the 12 Days of Christmas created? | To help young children learn the various parts of our faith. In that day, people could not publicly practice their faith. |
How does the Epiphany Foreshadow Jesus's death? | The wise men brought myrrh to Jesus. At his crucifixion, he was offered myrrh with wine to soothe his pain. His body was also anointed in myrrh when he died. |

Describe the events and meaning behind the events that occur on January 6th? | The wise men came from the East and brought gifts to Jesus. The events mean that Jesus is the newborn king and is a king above all others. It also foreshadows his death. |
What does the Incarnation of Jesus mean? | The son of God became human. He is completely God and completely human. |
How can we apply the Incarnation in our lives? | We need to always remember that Jesus became human to save us. We must not forget that we are loved by him very much. |
