OSHA Hazard Communication Standard: Locate OSHA posters and SDS sheets on site SDSs must be stored in a location that all staff can access during work hours (not behind a locked door or on a password-protected device to which they do not have the password).
OSHA Hazard Communication Standard: Training program explain and reinforce the information presented to employees through the written mediums of labels and material safety data sheets, and to apply this information in their workplace.
OSHA Hazard Communication Standard: Chemical inventory Label all containers. All containers should be labeled with at least the following information: - Identity of the chemical - All potential hazards associated with the chemical - Manufacturer’s name, address and telephone number
OSHA BBP Standard: Training requirements Employers must ensure their workers receive regular training that covers all elements of the standard including: - information on BBP & diseases - methods used to control occupational exposure - hepB vaccinations & med eval - post-exposure follow-up
OSHA BBP Standard: Employee medical records must keep employee medical records for at least the duration of the employee’s employment plus 30 years.
OSHA BBP Standard: Exposure protocol requires employers to make immediate confidential medical evaluation and follow-up available for workers who have an exposure incident, such as a needlestick.
