type 2 diabetes most common for adult onset none insulin dependent, watch nutrition, overweight. developes very slowly

expectorant aid on expelling mucous(sputum) from the lungs
mydriatic causes the pupil of the eye to dilate
narcotic pain reliever, produces sleep
placebo an inactive medication given inplace of a drug( m and ms as if they will cure a headache)
sedative/tranquilizer excerts a suthing effect, reduces anxiety
vasodialator dialates blood vessels(larger)
vasoconstrictor constricts blood vessels (smaller)

CVA stroke (cerebral vascular accident)
TIA transient ischemic attack- ministroke talking and then stop and then continue with out noticing
hemorrhagic stroke a bleed, vessel that is bleeding
hemiplegia half of the body is paralyze caused during stroke
quadraplegia all four quadrants below the neck/chest are paralized (neck down)
paraplegia paralyzed from the belly down
alzheimer's disease loss of memory, soon detected can help the process. can lead to death detereotion of the brain.
causalgia intense burning pain, resulting of injury of the nerve.
