Resignation | The acceptance or something undersirable |
Sheaf | A package of several things tied together |
Slalom | Move or race down a winding path, avoiding obstacles |
Annihilate | destroy, to do away with entirely |
Caricatures | a picture, description, or imitation of a person in which certain characteristics are exxagerated |
Perforated | Pierced with holes, small rows of holes |
Cacophony | A harsh mixture of random sounds |
Belligerent | hostile or aggressive |
Bewildered | confused or very puzzled |
Exile | being sent or kept away from something |
Malice | The intention or desire to do evil, wrongful intention |
Sentries | stationed to keep guard or control access to something |
Tyrant | a cruel ruler of something |
Provisional | Terms that are not final and can possibly be changed later on |
Bristle | To react angrily or defensively, offended |
Epicenter | The central point of something, typically a difficult or unpleasant situation |
Furrow | Make or become wrinkled or creased |
Sidle | Walk in a timid manner, especially sideways |
Anagram | a word or phrase, or name formed by rearranging the letters of another. |
Reacquainted | To be familiar with someone/something again |
Mystified | Totally perplexed and mixed up/confused |
Disoriented | Having lost one's sense of direction |
Concede | admit that something is true after first denying or resisting it |
Revoke | to put an end to something or take it away |
Oblivious | Not having an awareness of things |
Subdued | Quieted and brought under control |
Earnestly | In a sincere and serious manner |
Defiant | Strongly going against authority |
Scoff | laugh at or dismiss something in a mocking manner |
