optical | of or having to do with the sense of sight or the eye. Optical tests tell you whether or not you need glasses |
illusion | a state of seeing, hearing, or otherwise sensing things in a false way. The magician created the illusion that he was sawing a woman in half. |
model/modeling | a small exact copy of something, often used as a guide to making the thing in full size |
light path | light travels in a straight line |
ray | a thin beam of light or some other radiation. We enjoyed the warmth of the sun's rays |
evaluate | to judge the level or value of. In its report, the magazine evaluated ten new cars |
