Diagnodent laser examination tool used for the early detection of decay
Oral ID small battery operated device that helps detect oral cancer in its earliest stages.
Caries "tooth decay" or "dental cavities" most common noncommunicable disease worldwide.
Calculus Calcified dental plaque, composed primarily of calcium phosphate mineral salts deposited between and w/in remnants of formerly viable microorganisms.
Restorations Method used in restoring a tooth as close as possible to its orginal structure and function
Furcation "Bone loss" usually from periodontal disease and affects the base of the root trunk of a tooth where two or more roots meet.
Dental explorer Versatile and useful used to examine teeth.
Impacted teeth condition in which a tooth fails to fully grow out (erupt) from the gums.
Periapical Encompassing or surrounding the tip of the root of tooth

Posterior Back
Bitewing Show teeth above the gum line and the height of the bone between teeth. They help diagnose gum disease and cavities between teeth.

Cone Beam Computed Tomography CBCT Systems used by dental professionals rotate around the pt, capturing data using a cone-shaped x-ray beam.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging MRI A procedure that uses radio waves, a powerful magnet, and a computer to make a series of detailed pictures of areas inside the body.
Computerized Tomography CT A procedure that uses a computer linked to an x-ray machine to make a series of detailed pictures of areas inside the body.
Velscope Helps detect oral cancer in its earliest stages.
