Immaculate Conception | The catholic dogma that Mary was free of original sin from the moment of her Conception. |
Original sin | The sin that Adam and eve committed and the sinful condition that all human beings have from birth. |
creed | A statement of what one believes. The Nicene and apostles' creeds are the church's most important creed. |
Magi | The wise man who, upon discovering a strange star in the sky, traveled to Bethlehem to greet the newborn Jesus. |
soul | the spiritual element that gives humans life and survive after death. |
temptation | Something that makes sinful things seem fun, exciting, or even good to do. |
monotheism | describing that belief that there is only one God. |
